Type F coaxial receptacles were
introduced over 25 years ago in CATV equipment to interface with 59 series
drop cable connectors. These original designs incorporate blade female contacts
that have the ability of accepting .22 through .042 in diameter male connectors.
The average frequency range of these connectors is 250MHz with a return of
15-18 dB max.
