FIBER OPTIC RIBBON CABLE ASSEMBLIES

Delaire is able to custom manufacture ribbon cable assemblies to any length and in any configuration. Custom breakouts are easily accommodated. Some cable and connector styles are listed below:
Cable Style
Multimode Ribbon Cable Ruggedized Multimode Ribbon - Bare multimode fiber ribbon surrounded by an aramid fiber strength member and a tough outer jacket; Available in riser or plenum ratings.
Singlemode Ribbom Cable Ruggedized Singlemode Ribbon - Bare singlemode fiber ribbon surrounded by an aramid fiber strength member and a tough outer jacket; Available in riser or plenum ratings.
Bare Fiber Ribbon Cable Bare Fiver Ribbon - Bare fiber ribbon; Available in multimode or singlemode.
Connector Style
FC Connector FC - Round metal body with threaded coupling: keyed
SC Connector SC - Square plastic body with quick disconnect: keyed
ST Connector ST - Round metal body with bayonette twist lock
LC Connector LC - Square plastic body; quick disconnect; small form factor: keyed
MU Connector MU - Square plastic body; quick disconnect; small form factor: keyed
D4 Connector D4 - Round metal body with threaded coupling: pin alignment
MTRJ Connector MTRJ - Flat plastic multifiber (2-12) ferrule housing with RJ45 style connector
MPX Connector MPX - Flat plastic multifiber (2-12) ferrule housing with modular connector
MPO Connector MPO - Flat plastic multifiber (2-12) ferrule housing with modular connector
Connector Polish
MM Polish MM - Standard multimode polish: no back reflection specification.>
PC Polish PC (Physical Contact) - Standard singlemode polish: better than or equal to 45dB back reflection.
UPC Polish UPC (Ultra PC) - Higher quality singlemode polish: better than or equal to 55dB back reflection
APC Polish APC (Angled PC) - Angled ferrule contact surface on singlemode connectors to further reduce back reflection: better than or equal to 65dB back reflection
